Glenmore Trail - Fish Creek Park
SJW worked good after the rainbows started a bite around 10:30 AM and
the browns started taking about 2 PM, both times on a double nymph
rig.
The wind was up again with the high sun at noon and made maneuvering
tough, still enjoyable though!, work. Seven fish, browns and rainbows
mostly in the 16-17" range. Tried a couple of streamers where I knew
there were fish but nothin' doing. A midge dry fly may have worked
at 11
as there was rising activity for about 15min otherwise the surface
was quiet.
I need to install a fall fishing glove hook so I'll know where they
are as with-
out fall fishing gloves, fish wet hands are now freezing wet hands.
On the river 9 AM - 3:00 PM.
